What is one cool/unique/different fact that you learned about the Powerhouse Energy Campus and/or any of the labs within our building during your orientation?

The Powerhouse was a major component of the FortZED “RDSI” (Renewable and Distributed Systems Integration) project. This project tested a number of technologies that reduced peak energy use and integrated renewable and distributed energy resources, such as solar panels and the Powerhouse engines into two electric feeders serving Old Town and CSU main campus. Peak load reductions of 20–30 percent were obtained.

What is a favorite pastime or activity of yours outside of CSU?

Skiing fast

If you could only eat at one food truck every single day for lunch what food truck would you choose?

Any food truck with arepas.

We had to look that up! In case you are wondering an arepa is made of ground maize dough or cooked flour and is a staple of cuisine in Colombia and Venezuela.

Would you rather be a robot or a laser?

Laser
