Francis Benali MBE is coming to the Island for an exclusive show on Saturday 25th June 2022.
The evening will feature a VIP Meet and Greet experience, a LIVE and UNSCRIPTED interview from the Southampton legend, followed by a special audience Q&A.
Francis will take to the stage to give you real-life insight into behind the scenes of his career — the games, dressing room/training ground stories, managers, fallouts and everything you wanted to know about playing for a successful football club.
The former fullback and coach spent the majority of his 20 years playing career with Southampton FC.
After 389 games with the Saints, Francis — or Franny as he’s more affectionately known — is still a huge fans’ favourite today, thanks to his commitment to the club, hardworking attitude and ferocious, full-blooded tackles.
Many fans will remember Franny playing through injuries to help the team, including famously playing on with a broken arm!
Since retiring, Franny has remained a big part of Southampton FC, working regularly with Saints Foundation and becoming a Club Ambassador.
Benali’s knowledge and experience within the game have seen him regularly on Sky Sports or BT Sport, the radio or in the papers offering his thoughts and opinions on footballing matters.
In recent years, Franny has been in the media spotlight for different reasons, completing three ultra-endurance challenges, all in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The live interview starts at 7.30 pm with the event host. There will be a 15-minute break before an audience question and answer session
In 2019, Francis announced he would undertake seven Iron Man distance triathlons in seven days. This consisted of a 2.4-mile swim, followed by 112 miles on a bike, and then running a marathon (26.2 miles) each day. Starting in Manchester and finishing in Southampton, Franny, with his team, completed the challenge.
Along with his family and support team, he has raised over £1million for Cancer Research UK and continues to support them.
He was recognised by Southampton City Council, who made him a Freemen of the City. In 2019 he became an official Club Ambassador for Southampton FC and was awarded an MBE in the New Year 2020 Honours List.
