Can you actually make ANY money podcasting — lots of effort for very little return!
Are you thinking of starting a podcast and want to know how to make ANY money from this area?

Advertising and sponsorships are probably the first things you think of when looking for ways to make money from your podcast show!
There are several different podcast “ad” networks that connect you with advertisers. They do all the work of finding advertisers, negotiating rates, etc.
And here is the KICKER — You usually need a larger audience of at least 5K in some cases 10K listeners per month — There is always a downside for sure!
What Services do you offer?
You can offer services that tie in with the content on your podcast show.
By showing that you know what you are talking about on a topic, people would get that expert level. This made it much easier to get clients without having to “sell” them.
Coaching & Consulting
Coaching & Consulting is somewhat similar to offering a service, but you usually don’t do the work. Some industries that have a lot of consultants are for example business, fitness and teaching.
Premium Content
Premium content can really be anything you want, some of the common ways podcasters offer premium content include:
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Early-access RSS feed
- Q&A with the hosts of the show
Combine ALL Methods
As you can see, there are many different ways to make money from podcasting. Combining a few different ways is a popular approach and you can always change and adjust your methods over time.
There is no “right” way or “wrong” way to turn your podcast show into a business, just the way that works for you.
