After all my years in the music business with so many ups and downs you still can’t beat a solid producer creating beats with a strong vocalist to carry the song!
I remember the days when labels were so against dance music, but in the back of their minds, they knew it makes money — even to this day, you can’t beat a GREAT dance track!
In my humble opinion it’s still one of the best, maybe the best way to create and break a track and vocalist, going way back to the “90’s scene with the creation and founders of dance music.
Founded in the 1970s, the German band Kraftwerk are widely considered to be the pioneer of electronic music. They were among the first to popularise the genre, developing a distinctive “robot pop” style.
The producer — Gurban Abbasli
The BMI registered artist Gurban Abbasli is the electronic music producer, DJ and one of the pioneers of the Azerbaijan electronic music scene.
He was born in the town of Shaki, whose amazing mountains, nature landscapes and ancient history influenced him towards producing chillout music.
He started to produce electronic music in the chillout genre in 2008, using ancient sounds mixed with the urban beats and deep spheres that he loves to use in his music.
In his tracks, he uses Azerbaijani Mugham and its elements with Blaban leaks, which are the main ethnic and folk music of Azerbaijan…
The main tracks in his career were impressive and strong collaborations with Juliet Lyons “Together” and “Without your love” singles were released and compilated with progressive trance, Dub and chill out remixes and with remixes of the big names of the Progressive Trance music as Morvan Mor and Bilal El Aly.
Those releases were supported by the big names as — Paul Van Dyke, M.I.K.E., Giuseppe Ottaviani, Dimension, Reconceal, DJ FEEL, Manuel Le Saux, Las Salinas, Snatt & Vix, Suzy Solar Fan Page, Cold Rush, Tjerk Coers.
Gurban does his own music and tries to not match with the other producers in order to not make ghost copies of known tracks in structure or in sound.
Gurban’s remixes of Calvin Harris feat Rihanna — This Is What You Came and Lady GaGa — Perfect Illusion was played in main radio stations of the world and were supported by featured artists with the thousands play on Soundcloud.

Becky is a professional and experienced singer-songwriter based in the UK who has had a passion for singing and songwriting from a young age.
Becky has an extensive background in performing live, songwriting and session singing along with international collaborations and releases worldwide.
Becky’s pure and powerful vocals along with the ability to sing across various styles, pop, rock, country, R&B, Soul and Electronic dance music (EDM), make her a versatile vocalist who is able to adapt to any project.
Becky has worked with a variety of award-winning producers, and songwriters across the UK, Europe and the USA and has several global releases and published song features.
With song placements in films & tv, recent credits include writing the end theme song ‘Nemesis’ in the UK thriller movie called ‘Nemesis’ which was released by Samuel Goldwyn and reached No 1 on iTunes Soundtrack Chart.
Her songs have been added to the playlist within major stores and brands across Australia and the UK including TAG Heuer, Virgin, Karen Millen, McDonald’s, Le Cog Sportif to name a few.
