Listener discern. A General Mystification Vol. 1 Available on all podcast platforms Groundhog Day 2021

What:

SYGNYL is a magical realist / participatory-arts podcast that subtly invites listeners into a hidden world existing all around, yet more importantly; within.

Through enigmatic messages and supplementary content, audiences are summoned inward before ultimately taking part in small collaborative acts in the real world.

In this way, SYGNYL becomes a new vessel for ancient wisdom and medicine for the troubles currently ailing our world.

(As if Carl Jung had joined the OuLiPo and produced an album with Laurie Anderson.)

Who:

As architects of The Jejune Institute and Latitude Society, Nonchalance is recognized as a pioneer in the world of immersive entertainment, having created these visceral real-world experiences before a formal category existed.

These tangible story worlds then became the subjects of two feature documentary films (2013’s The Institute and 2019’s In Bright Axiom) and later was the inspiration for Jason Segel’s AMC television series Dispatches from Elsewhere (2020).

Writer & Director Jeff Hull is also the creator of the renowned street-art come apparel brand, Oaklandish (2000).
