The first hundred days of a presidency are always monumental, it sets the tone for the next four years. The day after his inauguration, President Joe Biden has made and plans to make many executive orders and actions to reverse his predecessor’s policies.

Evidently, Donald Trump and Joe Biden were two very different candidates. Joe Biden promised that, if elected, he would reverse many of his opponent's policies and so far he has lived up to those promises. On June 1st, 2017, President Donald Trump left the Paris Climate Accords which is an agreement within the UN to stop climate change. On his first full day of office, January 21st, 2021, Prescient Joe Biden rejoined the Paris Climate Accords.

On January 27th, 2017, President Donald Trump issued a Muslim Ban, which banned predominantly Muslim countries such as Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. President Biden reversed this order on January 21st, 2021.

In September of 2019, President Trump started building his long-promised wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, on January 21st, President Biden paused all construction on the wall.

On May 29th, 2020, President Trump cut ties with the World Health Organization (WHO), as of January 21st, 2021, President Biden rejoined the WHO.

As of January 22nd, 2020, President Trump approved the construction of the controversial Keystone pipeline, President Biden revoke the approval for construction.

This list seems long however, that is a fraction of what President Biden plans to reverse. President Trump tried his best throughout his four years to get rid of the Affordable Care Act however, President Biden wants to expand it. Trump had clear disdain to abortion and Roe v. Wade however now that Biden is president, he plans to make Roe v. Wade federal law.

On Trump’s last full day in office, he issued oil drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Refuge which would have endangered many of the native animals and would have disrupted the ways of life for the native Gwich’in peoples. Biden also intends to reverse the peace deal that Trump made with North Korea and get rid of the tariffs Trump imposed on China. Finally, Biden promises to reverse all the rollbacks Trump made on LGBTQ+ rights protections.

This is just a small list of all the things the President has done and will do to reverse former President Donald Trump’s policies.
