Editors Needed for Environmental Publication
We’re growing, and we need you!
There is a huge demand for environmental and climate-related journalism. Every day there is research published on everything from ecology and preservation, to climate related die-offs and exploitation of natural resources.
The problem is.. most news outlets have little to no experience reporting on these issues. They may hire five sport journalists, ten general journalists, a couple of investigative reporters with experience in law/crime.. and that’s it. — No experts on the environment, climate change or even “just” science.
The Environmental Reporter is trying to change that.
We Reinterpret the Mainstream Stories
Instead of seeing an economic collapse, we see the underlying ecological factors. We interview scientists, scholars and experts. We highlight local environmental destruction as well as global.
But I can’t do this alone.
Once this publication had finally begun to attract viewers and writers, I fell sick with COVID-19. I recuperated within a month, but by then my full-time job had me occupied and I’ve found it nearly impossible to juggle this publication with my other commitments.
