People think that when we say we need a “mental health day” we mean it in a way that we are being weak, lazy & any other label people call us! And what’s our proof to back up our statement that when we say we need a “mental health day”? Well here it is! People can be so ignorant & immature & it’s been clouding their judgment & blinding them from seeing the full picture of life.

People don’t realize how mental health is as real as it actually is in our reality & they don’t realize how their actions affect other people’s mental well-being & even their self worth. People expect us to be able to do normal things for example be confident at job interviews to love ourselves when we enter romantic relationships, even friendships & other relationships. They don’t realize how their actions, words & everything in between affects everything outside & above them.

All that they don’t have control over they do because even though they don’t have control of whether we love ourselves or not regardless of whether people decide to shame us constantly & taking away our worth all the time or not, but they do have control & the power to do better than their past. Do use their yesterdays as their motivation to do better today, & when today comes to an end, they let today & all their other yesterdays mistakes help them create a better day for tomorrow!

Lives matter, all lives matter no matter what race, gender, religion, culture, or anything a human being can be discriminated against. We all matter for being known as human beings who are all equally but in a fair way; flawed & that’s more than just normal, it’s okay & it’s not wrong or bad to be flawed in what we have made our world to be viewed as perfect.

Giving all humans the ideal human being to be perfect just like the world. You know it’s important to listen to our body! To follow and give it what it is telling us it needs: water, food (healthy), yoga, exercise, bathroom, social/human interaction, down time, self care, self love, nap, time spent with companion, mental health day, etc! It is not too selfish to take care of ourselves!

We need to care for our brains more than we are actually shaming them. The brain is the only reason why we are alive because it is keeping all our other body organs functioning. It’s like a family: if one doesn’t co-operate or work together, everything becomes messy, unhealthy & even toxic! And it can go more downhill than you may even think or begin to imagine!
