We Can Do The Impossible

Living in our world with how we have shaped our society, it can be impossible enough to do the things that deep down make us happy with how easily we are and have been giving into society’s demands, expectations and standards. From how we end up living our life to who we choose to become; we end up so unhappy yet even very depressed, insecure and hopeless.

But how can we change this? Well one way of viewing the impossible is all those who are fighting their own battles with mental illness, eating disorders and addictions, are proof that you can survive and you can do anything because fighting battles against that demon that comes with your given/diagnosed illness, is more than just challenging enough. But also rather do more on the side of impossible with how impossible and even unbearable it can actually be.

Society can be so ignorant when it comes to mental illness. Because they believe that mental illness is all in our heads rather than a real disease, yet soon gonna be the number one disease in Ontario or Canada! How is their belief any believable or logical? Well that answer is: is used to be because mental illness used to never get the proper treatment, or attention that it truly deserves. For decades, people who were mentally ill, were viewed as lunatics, weak, crazy to list a few.

But all of us who are part of the mental health community, are choosing to continue standing up for one another and spreading kindness in the most simple way possible! Because there is no logical reason to treat people badly in any emotionally out-of-control way just because they don’t understand or take the effort to be understanding and respectful of what we are all going through and knowing the real importance of caring for our brain:

No human being is healthy if their brain isn’t being taken proper care of: if you replace the “i”with “we” illness becomes wellness!

So I believe that we can continue making our progress towards a healthier yet happier society and kinder to bring us closer to world peace. We all say we want world peace yet we contribute to the complete opposite! So it’s a good time to take a moment to analyze the things we all do, act, speak and see how it represents as the opposite of gaining world peace, versus those actions that contribute to world peace!

In order to be able to be kind to others, you must learn to be kind to yourself; so that you know how to express that kindness towards others and with self control, mindfulness, gratitude and even therapy methods: CBT, DBT, REBT!
