The Epoch Times reported that President Donald Trump’s developed a strong rapport with Chinese Leader Xi Jinping after their face-to-face meeting on April 7th.

“We’ve established a strong acquaintance, begun building a kind of trust, and set the groundwork for a working relationship and friendship,” said Chinese Leader Jinping.

President Donald Trump made multiple controversial comments about minorities within America over the past several years about minorities that have caused many to believe him to be xenophobic. During the weekend I traveled to China Town, Los Angeles and asked 50 Chinese men and women whether or not this meting helped change their perception of Donald Trump. 39 out of the 50 men and women said the meeting didn’t change their view of the president at all. However, for the 11 of those whose minds were changed, practically all of them believe and are glad that Trump’s meting with the Chinese has decreased their fear that the Presidential administration would not stand up for them when confronted with racism by other American citizens.
