Due to the crackdown on immigration and the new strict policies from the Trump administration, coyotes have increased their rates.

Along with the higher rates, the route for coyotes and the people they help transport to the United States has become even longer and more strenious. The vigilance along the border has also increased, making it even more dangerous for people to migrate.

Some coyotes have increased their prices from $5,000 to $12,000 and the least one will charge during this time is $8,000, reports Hoy Los Angeles.
