In an act to bring awareness to the treatment of undocumented immigrants, 30 protesters were arrested April 13 in downtown Los Angeles and among those arrested were local rabbis.

The group of protesters were blocking the driveway of the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) and were soon arrested and taken away to the Los Angeles Police Department but were released shortly after their arrest.

The protest brought together Jewish, Muslim and Christian faith leaders and together they were acting in civil disobedience to demonstrate the mistreatments of undocumented immigrants.
