Ira went back to the drawing board after being selected to represent Malta in Eurovision this year. It’s such a strange move for an artist not to commit to their winning song and could of been a risky move as Chameleon won the hearts of the Maltese people. But the extra time to write this song was well worth the risk as it now moves Malta into the top 5.

YUP! This is that good!

Overall Rating: 4.5/5 dead chameleons

What does it sound like? A brilliant pop song that is a mix of gospel and drum and bass. It just builds and builds and that super diva chorus!!! Wow. Time to put your finger close to your ear and pretend to be Mariah Carey, whilst having Pendulum blaring in the background!

Now we have only been able to listen to the music video, but if she is able to sing it like studio (Which I know she can, Chameleon showcased her talents) and have a killer stage, she should do well at making that crowd fall in love with her.

Stand out moment: At 1:19 when you see Ira in that sparkly, studded pink flamingo outfit. Fierce!

Fun fact: Molly Pettersson-Hammar from Melodifestivalen fame helped write the lyrics to this song. Bless.

How will it go in Eurovision? It’s within a very competitive semi final 1, but I think she should do well and make it through to a top 5 for sure.

So what are your thoughts on this change of song? Do you like Chameleon better than Walk on Water? Let us know in the comments below and subscribe!
