When we are in the midst of a bad experience, be it, an uncomfortable Uber ride, a bad meal, a delayed flight, we do the following:

  1. Text friends to complain about our minor inconvenience.
  2. Draft a review for Yelp or for similar platforms.

Reviews are meant to provide feedback so that the good or service improves. While you have every right to bitch and vent it’s better to be constructive.

Put down the phone. Your wife doesn’t need to hear another banal complaint. The overworked customer-service rep isn’t your therapist either. Do this instead:

Speak up. Address the problem. Face to face. This will make our world better and your review will be heard.
