Shouting to be heard (It doesn’t work)

Raising your voice, to the point of alarm, makes your message fray. It distorts. It annoys. It’s ignored. Even if the point you’re arguing is right, or at least to you it is, shouting will further taint your point.

To be heard, even in an argument, debate, sales call, negotiation, police interview, you must collect your thoughts, breathe, and speak.

Plus, shouting is ugly.
