Tasting Notes

If you’ve ever been wine tasting there’s a chance you’ve heard the banter of tasting notes. “Fruit forward, alpine strawberry, persimmon…” I asked the owner of a Napa winery what the tasting notes were on his new Cabernet. He sighed…

“It’s all subjective. Everyone’s tastes are different. It’s what you perceive. Buy what you like.”

This can go for anything you make. Throw out the tasting notes. Buy what you like.
