Digital nomadism is at its all-time high and more and more countries offer the so-called ‘digital nomad’ visas for freelancers. Traveling and working from a laptop has been a dream for so many digital nomads (including me). But did you know that staying in a foreign country on a tourist visa and working from your laptop is technically illegal?
Not the mention all the hassle you have to go through with trying to renew your visa every 30–90 days. And of course, with the recent COVID restrictions it’s getting increasingly difficult to travel.
