Get out of My Garden, God told Adam and Eve, and don’t come back, until…

Get out of My Place. God evicted Adam and Eve manu militari, from the Garden of Eden. They were no longer welcome.

“Get out” sounds rather cynical coming from a loving God. Am I exaggerating God’s action? Why would God throw someone out and padlock the door behind them?
