I’m willing to accept an alternative universe in which you are able to stop and then restart your heart in order to receive an ecstasy-like rush.

I’m also willing to accept an alternative universe in which that process leads to the merging of the natural and super natural monster world that puts the main characters in a large amount of danger.

I am not willing to accept an alternate universe in which 5 highly educated scientists have to spend a large amount of energy resuscitating their friend because at no point did one of them go

“hey how long do you reckon the brain can go without oxygen before it like really dies?”

“i don’t know how about we google it?”

“we should probably not let our friend go under for more than 3 minutes, hey?”

“yeah good idea, I’m really glad we checked that”
