How Studying Online Can Benefit You

The case for completing education online

Traditionally, students have always studied on campus and were physically present at every class. Online education is a relatively new form of learning, and not everyone opts for it.

Due to the global pandemic, most schools around the world had to cancel campus classes and swap them for online ones. For some students, it was a blessing; for others, it was not. On May 5, 2020, NBC News reported that 25 colleges across the United States filed lawsuits demanding refunds of their fees because they are not getting the full college and education experience. The lawsuit included complaints from Ivy League schools like Cornell, Brown and Columbia, that charge higher fees compared to many other colleges. Students cited poor substitutes for classroom-based learning, and no more access to gyms, labs, and libraries, as those services required fees to be paid.

While the students’ outrage is understandable, considering the excessive education costs and multiple fees being added to the school bill, online education it’s an excellent choice for many. Today, I would like to make a case for this form of learning.
