Girls Don’t Exist To Be Stared At
A problem that we don’t think is a problem.
It’s a huge problem that almost every girl experiences. Boys stare at them even when they know it makes girls feel uncomfortable. I don’t know why boys think that it is necessary to look at the girls they see around them. The saddest thing is girls are held responsible for boys looking. It seems normal for people to stare at girls. They don’t think it’s a problem. The worst thing is they don’t just stare at faces, they examine the whole body, especially by looking at private parts of girls’ bodies. It’s shameful, yet they don’t think it’s a shame.
First of all, it is the parent’s duty to educate their sons about the things they should not do to girls. Parents must tell their sons how gazing at a girl is unethical and an act of indecency. Plus, boys should understand that girls don’t exist to be stared at. And it’s not just about single boys. Married men also do this thing. Old men, too, stare at young girls. So if adults are involved in it, how can we expect them to educate the young generation about this topic? What a great pity.
I believe we should break the silence and start these conversations. We should raise our voice about how staring at girls is bad and damaging. And we should make people aware of the issue even though many of them already know but they don’t understand its complexity and seriousness. The world needs to pay attention to this problem that we are ignoring for a long time. Sadly, we have accepted it as a normal thing and we have forgotten that it’s not right. Girls don’t exist to be stared at. And we should admit it.
