Part 1: The unexpected end

I t was a casual warm day in the kingdom of Sindbad. The court proceedings were in place and the issues of the people were put forth. The critical question about the treasury came up.

“Minister, if you come up with any more of your World War stories, your execution is imminent,” the king erupted, following one of the biggest diplomatic meetings in history.

“Yes, your highness, but believe me, what I have now in store will be smooth as caramel in your ears.”

“What is it?”

“Cryptocurrency.”

The court went silent, for there was confusion and profound doubt of sanity upon the minister, but the minister proceeded, “Your majesty, this is THE next biggest thing! By mining online, we can obtain high magnitudes of currency!”

The words of the Wazir sparked speculation and brought about a debate. Another Wazir was quick to respond, “But your highness, this has been proved to conclude in serious legal issues. Are you really going to believe the Wazir who presented to you the Flat-Earth theory?”

“How dare you try to insult me in the court!”

“Believe me your highness. This is not, in any way, a good idea.”

“You have no rights to speak against me. I am the most trusted Wazir in this kingdom. My transparency and clarity are unmatched.”

“I plead you not to proceed with this move, your majesty.”

“Off with your head, for you are trying to redirect the proceedings!”

“Wait, what?”

The king had enough of this argument. “I order you all to stay silent. I trust my foresight and command the guards to follow the order to execute the Wazir to be held in contempt of court.”

“But your majesty! Please give me a chance and hear me out…” He finished those words only to be dragged out by the guards.

After the guards had moved out, an informant came bursting through the door. “Esteemed Highness, there’s been a great tragedy. A businessman has scammed the citizens of our kingdom and has evaded with a massive scam in cryptocurrency. He seems to have taken refuge in another country which tried to invade us and this has become a serious cause of concern to the state.”

The court was stunned in silence. Everyone looked at the senior Wazir as he silently walked away.

The king was distraught for what he had done and like any other modern-day teen, he took up his phone to look at some memes to cheer up. But then he received a notification.

“Genie proposes to kill as a measure of gratitude.”

He tapped on it to read more.
