Being human, being humane
Every day we live, we "live"
Every way we go we give
Our fear, our hate, our pain
To this Earth, until we revive again.
We argue, we cry, we fight,
We cause chaos with all our might,
We live in a cocoon defined by our sight,
We survive every day and night.
As adversity hits at the window pane,
Let us no more be engulfed in thoughts insane;
But reach within our souls to drench in compassion,
And lend helping hands to brighten days most ashen.
