The Fiske Group is thrilled to welcome our newest client, The Spa at Mohonk Mountain House — part of the historic, family-owned Mohonk Mountain House in upstate New York! Although they are new, we have a rich history with them.
Nestled into the Hudson Valley just 90 miles north of New York City, the Mohonk Mountain House’s 30,000 square-foot Spa Wing is a must-do for locals and overnight guests alike.
Newly refreshed, The Spa’s latest addition features an open-air Lakeview Summerhouse outdoor treatment room — the perfect place to envelop yourself in nature and take in the stunning scenery of the Hudson Valley. Inspired by the rustic wooden summerhouses that dot the hiking trails throughout the resort and provide a mindful respite for hikers, the Lakeview Summerhouse treatment room offers the same restoring experience to guests at The Spa and is open seasonally.
With this addition comes a new meditation opportunity — the Mindfulness Session with Nina Smiley, Ph.D., co-author of The Three Minute Meditator. In this fifty-minute private session at the Lakeview Summerhouse, up to two guests learn simple techniques that can be used anywhere and anytime to bring the benefits of meditation into your daily life. Additional Summerhouse sessions that are now available include Private or Small Group Yoga classes, Private or Small Group Meditation Classes, and Lakeview Summerhouse Massages.
Also recently updated at The Spa is its extensive list of services. Featured on the new menu are a two-hour Re-Boot Treatment facial curated to fit the skincare needs of each guest, Contrast Hydrotherapy Massages that recreate the healing effects of glacial lakes and thermal springs through alternating warm steam and cool water showers, and the Healing Hand Facial designed to bring life back to brittle nails.
The Spa is committed to offering guests a holistic approach to relaxation through targeting connections with health and nature in each season of the year. Complete with sixteen treatment rooms, relaxation verandas, a solarium, steam room, sauna, indoor and outdoor heated pools, and both men’s and women’s changing rooms, this spa truly has something for everyone. Additionally, overnight guests at the Mountain House gain access to The Spa’s comprehensive fitness center, which features Precor strength, cardio equipment, and free weights.
A major attraction of The Spa is its Seasonal Wellbeing Collection. Included are Spa, Fitness, and Mindfulness-focused series. While fitness and spa services rotate with the seasons, the Mindfulness movement offers an enhanced experience that bolsters resilience and promotes well-being. Services include Mini-Meditations, Forest Bathing, and a Self-Care Sampler Session that dives into techniques that help reduce stress and explore the equanimity of being present in each moment.
A truly unique setting for spa treatments, private mindfulness sessions, and yoga and meditation classes, The Spa at Mohonk Mountain House is perhaps best known for its Outdoor Heated Mineral Pool. Open year-round and featuring infused salts imported from the Dead Sea, guests love to relax and recharge in the outdoor pool while taking in the mountain views.
While the most recent client to join our agency, The Spa is also one of our oldest and dearest to our hearts. When we first launched our travel PR firm seventeen years ago, they were one of our very first clients, thanks to Nina Smiley, who gave this new boutique agency an incredible opportunity. After working together for ten years, we took a seven-year break, always remaining in touch with their team and watching their successes from afar. After years of flourishing independently, we couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to represent them again!
