The Bundesliga continues as Stuttgart and FSV Mainz look to make improvements from their opening fixtures. We are at the crater of the automobile in the wonderful city of Stuttgart. A city known for being the epicenter of the automobile industry. As it is the starting point worldwide. As you can find plenty of activities associated with cars. The Mercedes-Benz Museum has been a big attraction. Everything about the city is about the vehicles. However, it is not the only thing that the city has to offer. With historical landmarks such as Palace Square. A touristy location the home of Neues Schools which was built between 1746 and 1807. It was used as a military parade ground. It stands next to two popular squares in Stuttgart Karlsplatz to the south and Schillerplatz a place with historical significance. In addition to that, of course, the famous Fernsehturm Stuttgart the first-ever TV Tower in Europe. A beautiful landmark that sits in the center of the city outside of that of course Stuttgart is the home of King William I during medieval times A very popularized museum such as Landesmuseum Württemberg a museum it was founded in 1862 by King William I along Grabkapelle auf dem Wuerttemberg:t was designed by Giovanni Salucci for King William I of Württemberg to house the remains his second wife. There’s a lot to do in Stuttgart, but on this Saturday afternoon, the focus of the city and the passionate fans around these parts is on the Mercedes Benz arena. Stuttgart after going from the relegation playoff had the best season in history statistically as they qualified for the Champions League after finishing second in the league. However, They were completely raided This summer. they seem to do enough to give them some stability but did taste defeat in their trip to the Black Forest as Freiburg came from behind to earn a 3-1 victory sending Stuttgart to the sword as they host FSV Mainz. Mainz performed fairly well in their opener. Last weekend. They ended up taking the lead all the way down to the late parts of the max before Union Berlin grabbed an equalizer fairly laid on as they only took a point some could say an opportunity mist to take maximum points to start the season. As Mainz travels to Stuttgart as they look to get into the win column Stuttgart looks to keep their unbeaten run at the Mercedes-Benz Arena intact as kickoff awaits Saturday afternoon.

Stuttgart opened up the scoring last weekend inside of the opening 10 minutes. they would be looking to do the same again putting together a hot start. the fans being behind them certainly contributed as they came out hot. Deniz Undav wasted absolutely no time in the third minute he followed through on a strike from outside the box as he watched Zentner make the save. A minute later he showed his explosiveness again. As he makes a horrific run from inside the box firing it again at Zentner as the Mainz keeper denies him for the second time in a matter of minutes. In the 6th minute, the visitors formulated a reply Lee Jae-Sung made an excellent run in the box he got ahead of his man before putting following through on the header but it was eventually locked and then cleared out by the Stuttgart defense. In the early components, it did seem as if the hosts showed that aggression in this again which got them the lead last week in the Black Forest. before not too long Stuttgart capitalizes on it. In the 8th minute, Chris Führich strikes with power Zentner makes the save before Enzo Millot cleans up the rebound and he sends it into the back of the net. As for the second week in a row, Stuttgart took a lead inside 10 minutes. Now the challenge would be holding their nerve unlike what occurred last weekend. They have been much more impressive side early on now. Just need to maintain it to keep themselves in the driver's seat at Home. They continue to be an onslaught of chances from them. They dominated the ball and forged the opposition in a defensive position constantly as it played into their hands perfectly. In the 10th minute. Angelo Stiller worked it through the air Pascal Stenzel beats his defender to the back post as he puts his head on it but it does drag wide. In the 13th minute Enzo Millot persists as he looks to make the difference again. This time he unloads a strike in the left side of the box. hit with a good touch before dragging off the tracks. Even with the lead, they continually knock on the door looking for another one. take a stranglehold on it. In the 15th minute, Alexander Nubel launches a ball from his box across Jamie Leweling collects it from the opposing box as follows striking it into the roof of the net into the top right corner. Stuttgart doubled their advantage that's more like it! They have put themselves in a very good spot now holding a big lead without too much resistance from the visitors. FSV Mainz Left Very frustrated as they are put into a hole now having to come from two goals down just to stay alive. In the 20th minute, Nadiem Amiri takes it forward before striking another one from distance. It is well hit before Alexander Nubel comes up with the save. In the 25th minute, he gave it a go once again from the outer area Nadiem Amiri made the good connection before his shot was deflected. In the 29th minute, Deniz Undav would return fire from Stuttgart. He collects the ball from Chris Fuhrich before sending a strike towards the corner but the timing is off as it drags wire. Before sending a strike towards the corner but the timing is off as it drags wire. As time went on FSV Mainz continued to grow into it. As they soak up the pressure and look for an equalizer. In the 33rd minute Lee Jae-Sung orchestrates an excellent ball into Jonathan Burkardt He blasts it from close range. Alexander Nubel coming to the rescue. FSV Mainz starting to make things happen for themselves. Even with operating at a deficit, they are pushing the hosts into some uncomfortable positions. Near the end of the first half, They weren't going to take no for an answer as they aggressively broached the box. Jordan Burkhart In the 43rd minute is brought down by Enzo Millot The referee pointed straight to the spot. Nadiem Amiri would step up and take it. The new signing sends it down the middle as FSV Mainz manages to get a goal back in the late stages of the first half all of a sudden they have come to life with plenty of time to turn this around. This would end the first half with Stuttgart holding on to a 2-1 lead.

Stuttgart has been far away and has been the more aggressive team thus far. They have been the better side out here today at home. However, a beacon of Hope has just been presented to the visitors. This entire operation has all of a sudden become a lot more complicated with FSV Mainz Only one moment away from a potential equalizer. As the second half got underway Stuttgart looked to poise control again. The aggressive approach that they put forth in the first half. they attacked with the same philosophy to try to recreate their separation. In the 51st minute, they ripped off A double chance as Enzo Millot took an initial strike from the right side box being denied by Zentner's follow-up, struck it from almost the same spot, and narrowly curled over the top right corner as Stuttgart delivered a couple of warning shots. FSV Mainz continued to have their moments. However, to a degree they were operating from desperation and taking some calculated risks. At times leaving them a bit vulnerable which opened up possibilities from the home side to put an exclamation point on it. As chances continued to flow for Stuttgart. In the 57th minute Maximilian Mittelstädt creates separation before finding a ball for Jamie Leveling he hits a firecracker from a distance but Zentner once again comes to the aid of FSV Mainz. This has kept them alive something they would surely take advantage of at some point. In the 61st minute, the match would be flipped on its head Andreas Hanche-Olsen drives the ball down the Left flank as he picks out. Jordan Burkhart from the corner of his eye digs deep and sends a cross into the box Jonathan Burkardt takes a diving header getting to the ball at the exact right moment as it flies in The top corner burying it and getting the much-deserved equalizer. Despite having created less, they have been very clinical when the chance has come to them. As we see another moment of chaos early in the Bundesliga season. In the 65th minute Stuttgart start to rely more heavily on Jamie Leweling As they looked to still find a way through and take maximum points. A cross is sent into the box for Jamie Leweling As Zentner denies Him from close range. with about 20 minutes to go Deniz Undav One of the breakout stars from last season tracks down a cross into the box. sent in from Enzo Millot He gets on the end of it. Zentner making the big safe yet again. Stuttgart delivered a double chance in the 85th minute. It seemed like this was going to be the moment El Bilal Touré struck from close range. a save is made by Zentner then Enzo Millot Hits on the follow-up It looked like it was going to cross the line but it is played off the line by the visitors as Zentner retains the ball. In the 88th minute though, it looks like the hosts were still going to win it after all! Fabian Rieder on a free kick just outside the area, it's a perfect curler around the wall, hitting the back post and then finding the back of the net Stuttgart takes a 3-2 lead with very little time remaining. All they needed to do now is not make any silly mistakes and see the game out in what could be a very impressive Three points To end the afternoon. However, there was more drama in the tale. We are sent to the last few moments. In the 94th minute Stuttgart dispossesses the ball in a dangerous position around the box. It is played into the box by the visitors Silvan Widmer follows through on a headed path in a dangerous area Maxim Leitsch gets on the end of it sending the ball into the roof of the net as FSV Mainz rallies late to steal a point at the Mercedes-Benz Arena as we see another Bundesliga classic Mainz come from two goals down At the death to take a point and what turned out to be a 3-3 Thriller in Stuttgart.

FSV Mainz certainly going to feel the happier of the two sides. They will head into the international break with two points. However, the way they battled through adversity away from home To take a result, we'll give them great confidence and momentum To continue to build on it. FSV Mainz went from 2-0 down inside of 20 minutes to leveling it then to see it slip out of their hands only for a late moment that delivers them. An incredibly important result in what was a truly excellent second-half performance. They wouldn't go away they were like a gnats They kept hanging around Stuttgart failed to punish them and even though in a lot of ways they were second best on Saturday. They created fewer chances. They were less in control for the vast majority of the 90 minutes played. they took their chances and away from home. pull off a huge comeback as they take a result from last season's runners-up. they will feel incredibly happy with the points in a decent start to the new campaign. Their expectations are simple, maintain their status for another season through the first two games they have shown their ability isn't a bad return for the opening fixtures. fact they could have easily taken all six points If a few things had gone differently. On the other hand, Stuttgart Will be very disappointed as they fall into deja Vu from last weekend. They finished second in the league last season. we often see an unlikely team fight for Europe in each Bundesliga season perhaps what they did last season was nothing more than a fluke. however, even if it wasn't a fluke, they lost many strong components of their squad. They have done a decent job trying to replace them. However, they lost two center-backs and a striker. In their first game of the season, they took the lead inside of 6 minutes only to watch it slip out of their hands. At home in front of one of the best most intimidating atmospheres in Germany, they took a two-goal lead. they were then pinned Back then they took a lead again with very little time. left their laziness and unorganization causing them to give away the ball when they were trying to kill off the match only for the visitors to come in and steal it late to take a point. it's not only that they had so many incredible opportunities to capitalize way before FSV Mainz fought back. Zentner's goal for Mainz was excellent. He kept them in it until they took their chances. It was an absolute slugfest. A six-goal Thriller as Mainz & Stuttgart battle in 3-3 draw at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
