Who is Footprint?

David and I spent two weeks in a couch surfing community in the town of Gagny, France (just outside of Paris) during COP 21 — a massively important global climate change forum. Staying with David and I were a group of activists from all over the world. Over the course of those two weeks, there was a great deal of knowledge and insight exchanged.

What we learned was that this community would definitely exist outside of the world of COP 21, a largely corporate and legislation-heavy entity — it was a microcosm of what we believe to be a global phenomenon. The people with proper credentials would be taking part in a discussion that affects the well-being of people across the globe. The fact of the matter is that those on the outskirts of decision-making are eager to take part, too.

Footprint seeks to empower those who feel discouraged by climate change.

We believe that people inherently seek out actions that have a positive impact on others as well as themselves. Here at Footprint, we believe that we can encourage more of those actions to take place on a daily basis.

David and I are the co-founders of Footprint.
