New Update: Introducing the Forge Overlay

Today’s update introduces the Forge Overlay! Now you can easily access your bookmarks and highlight clips to share to Forge and Twitter, all without leaving your game. You can also enable livestreaming when you access the Forge Overlay.

Just press [CTRL]+[TAB] to bring up the Forge Overlay in game. You’ll be able to view your bookmarks and create a highlight from the last 60 seconds of the bookmark. The Stream tab lets you connect to your Twitch or YouTube account and start livestreaming.

While in-game, you can also access your bookmarks or control your stream from the Forge desktop client. This is perfect for users who have multiple monitors and would prefer interact with Forge on a second monitor instead of through an overlay.

As usual, you can still press [F5] to place a bookmark and press [F6] to bring up the in-game highlighter to instantly create a clip from the last 60 seconds of your game and share it.

Other improvements:

• View your followers and people you are following from your profile
• Sign up for Forge using Facebook, YouTube, or Twitch
• Register for Forge without having to download the client
• Videos are muted by default
