The trade deadline is February 6th this NBA season. As I’m writing this it is January 5th, So about a month until the trade deadline. Earlier in the season we saw Jimmy Butler get dealt to the 76ers after mayhem in Minnesota. We saw George Hill get sent to Milwaukee to help the Cavaliers tank a little better. We’ve heard rumors on top of rumors as we do every year but none of them have really came true. One of the bigger ones is Brandon Ingram and will he be traded for another star. Lebron signed with Lakers in this year’s offseason and Magic Johnson promised him a star would come to Los Angeles with him. In today’s article I will be fulfilling Magic Johnson’s promise and bring Lebron James a star to Los Angeles.

Trade Scenario #1:

Lakers Receive: Victor Oladipo and Alize Johnson

Pacers Receive: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Brandon Ingram and a 2021 2nd Round Pick

Lakers reasoning: Lebron now has a dominant scorer and amazing defender in Victor Oladipo. This trade seems like a match made in heaven for both teams. This trade could potentially put the Lakers in contention, If not this season then the next. Lebron is locked up on a 4 year contract and Victor Oladipo on a 3 year contract.

Pacers reasoning: Pacers already have a nice young core with Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis. With Victor Oladipo on the roster and no other star there is no way they can contend. Adding Brandon Ingram along with Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis can easily set this team up with a great future, As long as they draft well.

Trade Scenario #2:

Lakers Receive: Anthony Davis, Tim Frazier and Kenrich Williams

Pelicans Receive: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Rajon Rondo, Brandon Ingram, 2019 1st Round Pick, 2021 1st Round Pick, 2023 1st Round Pick

Lakers reasoning: The Lakers accept this deal for one reason and one reason only, Kenrich Williams! No I’m obviously just playing it’s for Anthony Davis. Now you maybe asking me “Avery the Lakers are giving up three key players and 3 1st round picks, Don’t you think that’s a little bit too much.” No I don’t think it is all. Anthony Davis and Lebron James are both easily Top 5 players in this league. And if your going to sit here and tell me that Lebron James and Anthony Davis couldn’t defeat a Warriors team that has a banged up Stephen Curry, banged up Demarcus Cousins, a struggling Klay Thompson and a struggling Draymond Green. You are crazy!

Pelicans reasoning: Anthony Davis has been with this team since he was drafted #1 in 2012. In all 7 years he’s been in the league he has made the playoffs twice and escaped the 1st round one time then losing to the Warriors in round 2. Anthony Davis is amazing has made multiple All-Star games and currently is averaging 28 ppg but it just hasn’t worked out in New Orleans and it’s time for a change. The Pelicans are getting Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in return who is a nice bench asset, Rajon Rondo is coming back to the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram could be the next Anthony Davis for them and plus 3 1st round picks!

Thank You for tuning to this article and I hope you enjoyed it make sure to clap it up and send it to your friends!
