Demarcus Cousins may be Traded!

Demarcus Cousins the 7 year veteran is rumored around trades and things aren’t looking too well. Demarcus was traded last year and it looks like he will be traded again. Some of the notable offers have been released, Let’s take a look at them, Grade them and, Explain them:

Cavaliers Receive: Demarcus Cousins

Pelicans Receive: Channing Frye, Iman Shumpert, 2018 Nets 1st Round

Cavaliers: This trade gives Lebron another amazing piece and puts them in a better situation. But Demarcus is on his last year of his contract, So is Lebron James, Isaiah Thomas, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose and others so if they all leave then the Cavaliers don’t have a good pick too rebuild around Kevin Love.

Bucks Receive: Demarcus Cousins and Omer Asik

Pelicans Receive: Malcolm Brogdon, John Henson, Jabari Parker, Mirza Teletovic

Bucks: Eric Bledsoe who was recently traded to the Bucks was Demarcus’ Point Guard at Kentucky. So they will have chemistry. Giannis is an MVP candidate and will finally get a superstar to play alongside with. Omer Asik does have an unacceptable contract but the trade is still amazing for them.

Trail Blazers Receive: Demarcus Cousins

Pelicans Receive: Ed Davis, Mo Harkless, Jusuf Nurkic, 2018 1st Round Pick

Trail Blazers: Getting Demarcus to pair up with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum would be deadly. They aren’t giving up much compared to what they are giving up. This seems like the perfect fit as they didn’t give up too much. The 1st Round Pick won’t be a high one. Ed Davis and Mo Harkless’ contracts will be out.

Raptors Receive: Demarcus Cousins

Pelicans Receive: OG Anunoby, Jonas Valanciunas, 2019 2nd Round Pick

Raptors: Demar Derozan, Kyle Lowry and Demarcus Cousins could easily beat the Cavaliers and make a finals appearance. If the Raptor get Demarcus over the Cavaliers then the Cavs could be in for a surprise. I think the Raptors would win in 7 with Demarcus destroying Tristan Thompson.
