In Part 1 of the Disaster Draft I explained all the rules, created a storyline and, went over every teams protected and unprotected players here is the link if you haven’t read it yet I suggest you read it before reading this. Let’s get into it!

Out of the 2 teams drafting (Cleveland and Miami), Miami get’s the 1st pick in the 13 round draft because there record was worse when the disaster happened. Let’s get into both teams big boards.

Miami Heat Big Board:

Jeremy Lin- Hawks

Marcus Morris- Celtics

Terry Rozier- Celtics

Frank Kaminsky- Hornets

Jabari Parker- Bulls

Dwight Powell- Mavericks

Isaiah Thomas- Nuggets

Demarcus Cousins- Warriors

PJ Tucker- Rockets

Thaddeus Young- Pacers

Patrick Beverley- Clippers

Avery Bradley- Clippers

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope- Lakers

Rajon Rondo- Lakers

Jimmy Butler- Timberwolves

Enes Kanter- Knicks

Nerlens Noel- Thunder

Andre Roberson- Thunder

Terrence Ross- Magic

Robert Covington- 76ers

Ryan Anderson- Suns

Trevor Ariza- Suns

Al-Farouq Aminu- Trail Blazers

Bogdan Bogdanovic- Kings

Zach Randolph- Kings

Pau Gasol- Spurs

Greg Monroe- Raptors

Jae Crowder- Jazz

Markieff Morris- Wizards

The obvious approach for the Miami Heat is to build a big team and stay away from young assets. If the Cavaliers pass up on Demarcus Cousins or Jimmy Butler at #2 the Heat could have a dynasty. If they resign which will be one of the big questions as both of them are on 1 year deals.

Cleveland Cavaliers Big Board:

Tyler Dorsey- Hawks

Terry Rozier- Celtics

Frank Kaminsky- Hornets

Dwayne Bacon- Hornets

Chandler Hutchinson- Bulls

Jabari Parker- Bulls

Denzel Valentine- Bulls

Dwight Powell- Mavericks

Will Barton- Nuggets

Trey Lyles- Nuggets

Henry Ellenson- Pistons

Quinn Cook- Warriors

Isaiah Hartenstein- Rockets

TJ Leaf- Pacers

Moritz Wagner- Lakers

Ivan Rabb- Grizzlies

Trevon Duval- Bucks

Justin Patton- Timberwolves

Allonzo Trier- Knicks

Wes Iwundu- Magic

Dragan Bender- Suns

Gary Trent Jr.- Trail Blazers

Harry Giles- Kings

Bogdan Bogdanovic- Kings

Lonnie Walker IV- Spurs

Derrick White- Spurs

OG Anunoby- Raptors

Grayson Allen- Jazz

Tony Bradley- Jazz

The Cavaliers Big Board looks promising but a lot of the guys will be hard to select. Let’s say for example Jimmy Butler is selected no other Timberwolves player can be selected, that rule could be a big blow for both teams.

It is finally time to start the draft. Here are some key draft rules. There will be no trading aloud, not aloud to move players or picks during the draft. Only one player from each team can be selected. Miami Heat are going to kick this off with their 1st pick. Let’s Get Into It!

Round 1:

1. Miami Heat: Jimmy Butler

2. Cleveland Cavaliers: Jabari Parker

Round 2:

3. Miami Heat: Demarcus Cousins

4. Cleveland Cavaliers: Terry Rozier

20. Cleveland Cavaliers: Ivan Rabb

Round 11:

21. Miami Heat: Markieff Morris

22. Cleveland Cavaliers: Dwayne Bacon

Round 12:

23. Miami Heat: Jeremy Lin

24. Cleveland Cavaliers: Trevon Duval

Round 13:

25. Miami Heat: Al-Farouq Aminu

26. Cleveland Cavaliers: Henry Ellenson

That’s the end of the draft here is how each team lineups would look.

Heat Starting Lineup:

C: Demarcus Cousins

Heat Bench Lineup:

PG: Rajon Rondo

SG: Avery Bradley

SF: Trevor Ariza

C: Nerlens Noel

Markieff Morris

Jeremy Lin

Al-Farouq Aminu

Cavaliers Starting Lineup:

The Heat have a championship roster going for them and if they can resign Jimmy Butler and Demarcus Cousins this could be a dynasty! The Cavaliers are missing big man but are in great position to tank for Zion Williamson.
