“Chelsea Clifton at Thomas Jefferson HS in Federal Way is an amazing arts educator — they fiercely advocate for the creative potential and curiosity and hopes of their students! “My favorite moment observing Alijah Benbrook this year has been in their work on the Creator’s Cove program. There’s so much to do backstage on any program, and it’s been a joy to work alongside Alijah with their passion for building excellent experiences for youth!” — Chelsi Gorzelsky, foundry10

“My favorite moment observing Biz Freebairn teach this year was watching her lead a room of youth and educators in a new drama game that we all learned from! I’ve worked with Biz for almost a decade now, and I’ve always learned from her care-filled approach to education.” — Duncan Frost, foundry10

“Rob Hoppins and Christine Lackie at Cedar Park Elementary are amazing advocates and creators for their students — developing special projects and bringing in local ‘experts’ to guest teach in order to inspire and activate their students’ creativity and curiosity and voice!
