A change of heart by Jeremy Rifkin argues that science shows that humans and animals aren’t very alike but they actually are more like us than we think. I agree with him entirely, he has the right type of thinking.

Rifkin has several good examples of the studies done on animals and their behavior that show their true worth and needs. Animals definitely have feelings and abilities not very different from us. It was quite interesting how the crows Betty and Abel were able to tell which wire is better and also were able to adapt to tough situations. It is just amazing how Koko the Gorilla was able to become fluent in sign language. These amazing creatures we call animals deserve love and care.
