From the outside, freelance writing seems like a dream career.

You work from home and pursue your passion for writing. Oh, and you make money. Win, win & win.

Not exactly.

When you embark on your freelance writing journey, you’ll realize that if you want to make money, you have to write about things you don’t care about, and get paid next to nothing.

Master a specialty.

Everyone needs a niche, especially writers.

Mastering your niche requires you to be an expert. You need to know everything about that niche; upside, inside out, and sideways.

Finding your niche means more than choosing what kind of writer you want to be. You have to be more than a writer, a copywriter & a copyeditor. You have to be a particular kind of content writer…
