My path on Medium and beyond
I am a budding writer striving to find compelling content that can attract more followers and increase reading time. My journey on Medium is relatively new, and unlike many, I am not particularly active on social media. I find solace in reading and find joy in crafting my thoughts into words.
When I first ventured into blogging, I heard about freelancing and the potential to earn through creative content. Motivated by this, I began my blog on Blogger for its user-friendly interface and free themes. However, my initial experience was disheartening –
I received minimal views: 1 on the first day,
4 on the second, and
196 after four months despite publishing six blogs.
Discouraged, I moved to Medium.
On Medium, I learned the importance of promoting my work. Lacking social media accounts like Facebook or Instagram, I struggle to promote my writings effectively. What should my next step be?
Despite these challenges, I remain undeterred. I continue to write passionately on my blog and here on Medium. I take inspiration from the journeys of successful writers, understanding that their achievements were not overnight successes but the result of immense dedication – hours spent researching, reading, writing, and editing. Their stories remind me not to lose hope but to persevere.
I firmly believe that success comes to those who persist. I know that my dedication to writing will eventually yield the results I desire.
