Who is Gen X?
The name “Generation X” comes from a novel by Douglas Coupland, Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture, published in 1991.
Generation X, or Gen X, includes all the folks born roughly between the early-to-mid 1960s and the early 1980s. This vibrant generation comes right after the Baby Boomers and just before the Millennials (or Generation Y). Gen X is known for having some really unique cultural experiences shaped by important historical events, economic changes, and social transformations.
