Across the border

50-word micro-fiction | Prompt: Powered by Poetry -” Migration”

That place is filled with new unfamiliar faces. None here to support me, oppose me, or to contest me. The atmosphere is electrified with sanguine energy. Heart meter on high — “newfangled”. All I need, being “somewhere new” where I can unravel my raw unkempt edges, in hope to sharpen myself.
