There’s a picture opposite me.
It’s Mona Lisa, but naked.
We gawk at her, pretend to study the lines, the colors, what’s between the lines and colors. We rub our chins and squint.
“Powerful,” says some woman in the back. I imagine she wears glasses because we all wear glasses.
