Lord God, the ringing. Will it ever stop? Been here forever so no, of course not.

Fan. Faster. More fan speed.

Maybe television.

Lay here forever tonight but no relief. Turn over again. Drink.

Put my fingers in my ears, but no. The noise. The noise is within.
