Worksmith News: 6 Months In
A week before Worksmith opened, my partner and I were lucky enough to welcome a beautiful child into the world. Today, Maya Florence turns
6 months old.

This also reminded me that next week, Worksmith will tick over 6 months since we swung open the doors. It has been one hell of a ride since then, which has seen our membership grow from zero to over forty members.
These include employees and founders of brands such as Four Pillars, The Wine Gallery, Archie Rose, PosBoss & The Fermentary.

Along with our amazing members, we have now partnered with Capi Sparkling, William Angliss Institute & Gordon Legal who have all come on board as supporters of the space. These organisations will bring a huge amount of value to our members through collaborative events, industry feedback sessions and direct opportunities to work together.

A huge thanks to our product sponsors; La Marzocco, Unico Zelo, Somage, Square One, Proud Mary, Moon Dog, Stomping Ground & Sol Cups.

The growth of Worksmith has been tremendous and I could not have done it without my Co-Founder Roscoe Power, our Space Manager Rachel Dogherty and our Finance Manager Rob Weston. Along with the team on the front line, a huge thanks to our investors that believed in the concept since day one.

Worksmith may only be 6 months old, but just like my daughter, we are only just learning about where we fit into this world and all the potential that is out there for us to grow.

Stay tuned for what is to come, I promise you we are only just getting started!

Podcast: Cooking the Books — From Inside the Food Industry
Cooking the Books is a podcast from chef/co-owner Robbie Bell of City Larder in Heidelberg, Melbourne. It may be in its infancy, but you can already find the likes of Michael James (the co-owner of Tivoli Road Bakery), being interviewed about how he got his start as a baker and how factory farming is having an affect on our health.
