“The best way to predict the future is to create it” — Peter Ducker. This quote is something that we need to consider. We are living in the 21st century, an era where science and technology have made great advances but the work routine which we follow is the same for the past 50 years. Technology in the workplace should be evolving in the upcoming decades. The office routine which we follow will not be the same and will be having great advancements. I am a student majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in MIS (Management in Information Systems), at the University at Buffalo. MIS, it’s a bridge connecting the Technological aspect and the Business aspect, which in today’s world is very important. People who want to change how the businesses and companies work, people who want to evolve with upcoming technology, people who want to implement this technology are the ones who will be benefited from my research. Technology can help increase efficiency and productivity which is very vital in today’s environment. Secondly, it is changing the office culture, which is important because it will keep the workers happy and relaxed and also given them an incentive to work more. Last but not the least, the strongest impact is on the field where no one has to go to the workplace anymore. In the situation which we are currently passing through the COVID19 Pandemic, working from home has helped a lot of companies boost up their revenues. In a way, technology has been a savior for these companies in this deadly pandemic. COVID 19 has been a starting to point to the use of technology for everything from virtual events to online classes. How will technology change the way we work? What is the future of the workplace? Is Will being tech-savvy benefit us? Answers to these questions are to be found in future research. These questions are interesting because everyone would have a different perspective. I would like to put forward an unbiased answer to these questions, thus only giving you a general idea. Over and above, the key to learning anything about this technology is also available to be delivered on any platform or mobile. Thus, learning AI (Artificial Intelligence), Machine Learning, etc is easier than it was before. Learning these skills beforehand will make you better prepared for the future and help you establish your foundation.
