IQ (Inelligent Quotient)
Intellect is of a malleable form. Over the last 100+ years, it has found its way to the forefront of what we s a collective species deem to be of an intellectual mind, or rather the ability to, with specifics, query up an answer through problem solving and or memorization. Although intellect exudes a powerful disposition of mind, it is only the beginning of the full extent of our being fully human.
EQ (Emotional Quotient)
There has been much written on the topic of emotional intelligence — from a design perspective — holding the space to fully and whole heartedly connect with our audience is our most intimate expression. Emotionally engaging with our audience is a prerequisite to our ability to fullly consider a design solution that is rightfitted to their lives. Put simply, I have yet to meet a profound designer that does not exhibit an emotionally connected cognition. And so, the question arises — what is the fully requirement of a profound designer?
CQ (Creative Quotient)
The ability to creatively derive something into being is of humankind’s greatest attributes — moving far past our physical characteristics and into a realm of metamorphosis — from thought to creation. Designers of the 21st century have a unique opportunity to transcend into a future that includes a fully recognized state of creativity — whereby unlocking the potentiality of the greatest design achievements known to man.
