CrossChx does not sell patient information, ever. We don’t today; we won’t tomorrow; we won’t ever. If you want to carve that in stone, I will personally hand you a chisel and hammer. That is simply not going to change.

We wholeheartedly believe in protecting patients’ information and giving them control over their own data. Hundreds of hospitals around the country trust us because of how seriously we treat patient data security. We’re hardcore about data stewardship, encryption, and security. Call me a nerd for that, but it’s written into everything we do.

Patient data is strictly governed by HIPAA and the HITECH Act, giving consumers valuable protection that we greatly endorse. To bring the lawyers into this for a moment, we also have extensive legal agreements and audited processes for every one of our hospital partners. The fact is we are just as accountable, and held to the same confidentiality mandates, as our hospital partners.

We bring our A-game to identity resolution and protection, not only because we have to, but also because we know patient identity deserves that kind of commitment and attention to detail. Monetizing patient data is not part of our business model, and it never has been.

Allow me to introduce you to the wizard behind the CrossChx revenue curtain; we offer hospitals premium products that modernize the healthcare experience and improve patient outcomes. Our yellow brick road is winding all over the U.S. Two of these products, Queue and Quad, are already deployed at hospitals around the country. Now that’s a horse of a different color.

I’ll give you a great, real-world comparison for what makes up CrossChx’s revenue. Ever visited the Apple App Store? Thousands of companies have millions of apps that Apple hosts through their marketplace. That’s a big pie to cut a slice from. The funds for those patented sleek, round edges have to come from somewhere.

More important than the bottom line, let’s go back to why we started CrossChx — we’re out to modernize healthcare. To do that, we have to fix the medical identity crisis once and for all. One of the ways we’re doing that is by giving our flagship product, SafeChx, absolutely free to healthsystems.

SafeChx, our flagship product, is given away to hospitals absolutely free.

From there, we can offer our customers additional products like Queue. And by getting hospitals connected to our healthcare app marketplace, Quad, we can consistently bring new products and services to market and continually improve the patient experience.

That’s our endgame.
