Apple Unleashed Event Highlights-New MacBook Pro, M1 Max and Pro chips, AirPods 3, and more

The October event from Apple was already in the rumors for quite some time and yes, the new MacBook Pros are here. With the jet fast M1 Max and M1 Pro that come with up to 400GB/s memory bandwidth, these MacBook Pros are going to be game-changers. To add to that, we also have the AirPods 3rd Gen with full spatial audio and a bunch of other technical plus software updates. Read on for more about the Apple Unleashed Event.

Today Apple is announcing brand new products that are sure to have fans excitedly anticipating their arrival. From Macbook to AirPod Pro 3, there’s likely to be something for everyone this time around. 16-inch and 14-inch MacBook Pros with M1 Max and Pro chips

Apple is bringing whole new MacBook Pros to desks everywhere, complete with a whole new M1 Pro chip. It can deliver up to 70-percent faster GPU and 2x faster graphics performance. It will feature ProRes support and a brand new display engine-this just scratches the surface of what the M1 Pro chip harnesses. An M1 Max chip will also be available and has even more power than the M1 Pro chip-by far the most capable chip Apple has ever built.

Apple also mentioned with its new tech, you’ll be able to more with a wide range of apps. For example, Logic Pro will allow you to create Spatial Audio mixes on a notebook.

The new MacBook Pro models will be available in 16-inch and 14-inch sizes. They will feature brand new keyboard designs with mechanical key style tactile feedback. Ports have been added to expand functionality, plus support for MagSafe. A sharp new retina display will have 24-percent thinner side borders and 60-perfect less top border with a small camera notch. The two models will have greater pixel densities than before. ProMotion refresh rates will improve the fluidity of animations while state-of-the-art backlighting boosts HDR capabilities.

A new front-facing camera will be 1080p resolution with computational video support. Sound systems have also been enhanced to deliver an improved listening and recording experience with six different speakers. Spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support will also be available.

AirPods 3rd Gen with full spatial audio

Apple announced a brand new upgrade to the Airpods-the Airpods 3rd Gen. This new version of the listening device will bring a low distortion driver, full spatial audio support, sweat and water resistance, a new contour design, and adaptive EQ. Oh, and did we mention 6 hours of increased battery life with MagSafe charging? The new AirPods 3rd Gen will be available for pre-order today at $179. They will be released next week on October 26th.

Apple Music Voice Plan with better Siri support

Apple also highlighted how powerful music has been across its many different products. Today they discussed a new Apple Music plan called “Voice Plan” which lets you use Siri to launch music through any of your Apple devices. It will be available to users in 17 different countries (voice only) for only $4.99.

HomePod Mini available in new colors

Another product getting a special shoutout today is the HomePod Mini. Apple reviewed the many great features Home PodMini brings to homes, including a slew of new colors you can now choose from. The new colors will be Blue, Orange, and Yellow-Available from Apple in November. The HomePod Mini is still priced at $99.

And with that, the Apple Unleashed Event reached its conclusion. New MacBook Pros rocking killer M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Redesigned AirPods with full spatial audio support.
