As a university student, it's kinda great having some free time to capture content. I’m normally wouldn’t be normally capturing due to life and COVID-19, as I tend to rather stay at home wherever possible.

E0022 prepares to stop at

This is a collection of photographs taken on one afternoon.

Evolution Trainsets in operation.

It’s been widely asked to me, is the Evolution trainsets worth the wait? It seems evident so. The trainsets are modern and bringing us towards modernism

But, the trainset E0023 was an ‘interesting’ experience. After boarding at Hughesdale station, I’ve started to notice something was up as we were trundling at 20kph. It seemed normal at first until experiencing the train tripping the tripcock. It managed to stop short at Caulfield, which came as a surprise to everyone. Its troubles would continue onwards to South Yarra.

The trains seen here were diverted onto the Frankston Line whilst the unfolding issue with the Evolution trainset that I was on was being dealt with at South Yarra.

The everchanging Dandenong Group, it's only a matter of time until the Comeng and Siemens would be reallocated to other groups or (for the Comengs sake, could be retired).

It's hard to believe that it's been nearly 5 years being in this hobby and I’ve never really taken notice of the Comengs on the Cranbourne and Pakenham line until now.

An unexpected guest, well I mean… running early than expected. VL35–360 trundles slowly after being issued out warning aspects due to a faulty Evolution trainset (which I took earlier).

VL353, freshly out of its engine overhaul at North Bendigo Workshops proudly wears its new Rail First decals, indicating a new brand that has replaced the once large Chicago Freight Leasing Company Australia (CFCLA) branding.

We could see E0022 back again, where it completes another up run. Went to Hawksburn and Flinders Street Station for two shots.

And that's how I spent one day photographing Metro.
