Meet the Woolnut iPhone 11 Pro Max Leather Case

I must confess, having been a big fan of Woolnut’s MacBook pro case lineup for a long time, I was excited to hear about the new iPhone 11 cases, cut from the same pristine Scandanavian vegetable retanned full-grain leather I am accustomed to appreciate from a fine Swedish leather maker such as Woolnut.

As an owner of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, I got the cognac color, as well as the green case, to review.

Having previously housed my phone with Apple’s leather case offering, while it was protective enough, I didn’t enjoy the texture and aging transformation those cases gave me, as they felt too sensitive on the outer shell.

Transitioning to Woolnut’s case, I felt an immediate upgrade in quality. Crafted with what they term a patina feel, the exterior is something I actually really enjoy. Besides the extra comfort in grip, it provides an executive substance that is premium, gentle, and visually striking. I also feel it will be significantly more durable than my prior case, the color and texture will maintain, without the aforementioned discoloration or aging.

The interior protects your phone with soft microfiber lining, to ensure you don’t have any scratches. One thing I had to always ensure with any case I have for my iPhone, is that it doesn’t get in the way of my wireless charging. Having moved from having cables to wireless charging everywhere, at home, in the car, and in the office, this case doesn’t let me down in that department either.

The new lineup of cases come for both the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, at around € 40.00. I can lay testament to the quality of their MacBook cases, having had the same one for a few years, which gives me great confidence in their iPhone cases. These are definitely my favorite cases, I am a minimalist, and while I do appreciate TwelveSouth’s iPhone cases, bulky wallet cases aren’t my thing.

Go ahead and order one from Woolnut, and treat yourself to a higher level of leather for your hefty investment.
