Gencove integrates with Illumina BaseSpace

tl;dr: you can now import raw low-pass sequencing data directly from Illumina’s BaseSpace cloud service into Gencove.

At Gencove, we’re looking forward to a world where scientists can go straight from DNA to meaningful results, without manually shepherding large numbers of intermediate data files between analysis pipelines. With that in mind, we’re quite excited to release a feature where users can connect their Gencove accounts directly to Illumina BaseSpace and easily analyze low-pass sequencing data coming off of Illumina sequencers.

The integration is live and you can try it out immediately by:

1. Connecting your BaseSpace account by navigating to the Gencove dashboard → My FASTQs → BaseSpace → Connect to BaseSpace
2. Selecting FASTQ files from BaseSpace and assigning them to a Gencove project to kick off analysis
