Midjourney Can Finally Outpaint
It’s time to “Zoom Out”
The “Zoom Out” feature
While Midjourney has been the leading image generator in the aesthetics department, it was lacking some features its competitors like DALL-E have been offering for a while. But with the arrival of V5.2 we can now finally outpaint using Midjourney.
This is a fun and useful addition to the arsenal of features available through Midjourney AI, but it still has some limitations.
What it can do
The “Zoom Out” feature allows us to extend our upscaled generations. Look outside of the frame of what had already been generated.
This however doesn’t increase the size of the final image. The resolution of the output images is still 1024 by 1024 pixels.
