I recently reviewed Originality, the first full-featured tool for detecting AI-generated text from systems like ChatGPT or GPT-3.

Detecting AI-written text is helpful for professors, publishers, and even consumers who want to know whether a person really wrote the article they’re reading.

Originality is relatively inexpensive, but using it still required logging into the Originality website, pasting text into the company’s detection tool, and waiting for a score.

Originality has now changed that with a Chrome extension that makes the process way easier. With the extension installed, you can now right-click on any text on any website, and quickly check whether AI may have written it.

Here’s a look at the new extension.
