Why 2023 May Mark the Beginning of the Singularity

Update! 2024 AI scientist Ray Kurzweil: ‘We are going to expand intelligence a millionfold by 2045’

You may have heard of the term “The Singularity” or perhaps you read the book that I’m referring to with the title “The Singularity is Near” and with the subtitle “When Humans Transcend Biology.”

Ray Kurzweil, a well-known futurist, author, inventor, and industry figure with extraordinary abilities in many domains, is the author of the book.

To give you a quick summary of this New York Times bestseller book, it was published back in 2005, and in it, Kurzweil explores at length the concept that soon there will come a future period whereby the speed and pace of technological processes will start to speed up and take root so quickly that humanity will be transformed for good and this trend will be irreversible.

When 2023 began I saw the changes immediately just from taking a look around and I truly believe that it’s occurring right now!
I believe that this year, designated as 2023, is well suited to serve as the embodiment of what Kurzweil is talking about.

Obviously, the first thing that comes to mind is AI, and most importantly, the platform called ChatGPT, which comes from company and website formed and named as OpenAI.
