Our days slip away like the grains of sand in an hourglass, quietly yet inexorably.

These grains represent the moments of our lives, irreplaceable once they’ve passed.

In modern society, the issue is how easily these precious moments can be wasted amidst the deluge of information.

Every day, we are at risk of drowning in a sea of news, being engulfed by the whirlpool of social media, and being pelted by the incessant rain of notifications.

Being constantly exposed to this wave of information, we may feel as though we’re gaining something in the moment.

However, as time passes, I often find myself questioning:

「What have I actually gained? Why was I reading the news in the first place?」

After allowing ourselves to drift in the sea of news and spending time in the vortex of social media, we often realize that the knowledge and information we thought we had is merely superficial.

What’s important is not to drift aimlessly on the waves of information but to select knowledge that truly adds value to our lives and to put it to use.

In other words, it’s about taking the information at our disposal and taking action with it.
